This thread has been around a while, so now I'm curious - has your first list changed? If so, how and why?

Got the Matriarch and it is an amazing instrument on its own, but pairing it with an Octatrack has really generated a paradigm shift for me. Eventually decided that I'd rather explore Euro instead of waiting for the Pulsar-23, then took the long way into a 7U Intellijel case with some drum modules. Now I'm building the 7U case into a 4-5 voice digital/analog hybrid box for dirty synth percussion shit and feeding it triggers from the Octatrack.LameAim wrote:Definitely have a Matriarch on pre-order.
Put myself on the Pulsar-23 waitlist, more likely to happen than not.
Will eventually find my way into more Eurorack to link/use with both.

Crossposting from the Cheap Synth thread...
I am contemplating trying to find a Casio CT-1000p. In my research there was an interface kit made by Micro Musical Ltd in England to allow the arpeggiator to synchronize at least to some external gear.
Does anyone know how easy it is to find? How many were made? Any other options to do this?

Side note - got the CT-1000P; it's quirkiness is what I think won me over (and I got it with a case). Sometimes quirky wins the day for me.
It would be great to find an answer for my question above about the Microlink.

Controlled Bleeding Fan
oops!
My waiting list has definitely changed in the last year. I was really excited at the Soma Pulsar 23, but have since got a DFAM and love it, and I've seen the Pulsar price go higher than I expected. It will be amazing I'm sure, but my money is now committed to two items. First up is the Soma DVINA, which I was just informed is ready to ship, I just need to wait for my place in the waiting list to arrive
And the Expressive e Osmose, which I pre-ordered like many of you here by the looks of the forum.
Happy days!

Happy days!
In terms of synths, I've been trying to clear space (and funds) for a Moog One and/or Kyra.
But first, I think I'm going to go for a Console 1 Fader and some new monitors. Been using the Avantone MixCubes for about 2 years after not having monitors for a while due to living in an apartment complex. I just can't decide whether I should take a small step up to something like the Yamaha HS7's like I had years ago or go balls to the wall with some Focal Shapes or ADAM A7X's

Preordered the Osmose and Hydrasynth keyboard.
May also pick up a mint condition Alesis Ion before the end of the year.
Last big one on my list is the Matriarch
After that I will be set on synths (yeah right) for a while.
Then it's on to restoring my Rhodes, Crumar DS2, and Fender Contempo... and settling on a Hammond clone.

Re: What's on your waiting list?
I guess I am waiting on my Nifty Bundle... as far as synths I plan to buy in the near future (as the Nifty Bundle is backordered); I definitely am looking forward to the new Grendel Grenadier from RareWaves.

Re: What's on your waiting list?
There's plenty I'd love to get, but for now, I'm just waiting for Korg to release the NTS-1, and for Shakmat to release their 1U clock divider (or a longer wait for Intellijel to make one, if it turns out to be better). Eventually I'll get a proper polysynth, if I ever figure out which one to get.

No obscure or specialty gear at this time. Just this below.
I'll be waiting a possible firmware upgrade/polish (and a price drop).

Re: What's on your waiting list?
...now after some time spending with all the stuff I own and buying a few more things i wanted for a longer time I don't feel any need for anything other than new A/D converters (4x ADA8200) for tracking and processors for the post production (one eq, one saturation and compression device and one limiter). There's this Chase Bliss pedal which seems so cool, then I found out that I want a dedicated sequencer for the ER-301 which mostly will be it's older brother ER-101 and subwoofers to pair with the KH310 but these are not anywhere needed rather than get my A/D conversion fixed and nice effects to finish my mixes. Anyhow this is all luxury and somehow a sing of decadence.
More relevant atm is to rearrange my patchbay system and then label everything so this crawling
behind the rack and desk comes to an end.
Then there's this vicous thought to connect all (32...) insert jacks to patchbays too. It would be so nice to just plug cable short cables if there no need for the aux send system or to just grab a pedal and put in on a channel like in a daw.
And mos def I want to set up my live performance that I can play club shows. IDM and freestyle stuff is ready but the crave to make people dance is growing. I just maybe need this drum machine clone to get along...

Re: What's on your waiting list?
@red I really hope you post some tracks when you get the syntrx! I know it is outside my budget, but I would love to hear more examples of what it sounds like (particularly in use musically).

Re: What's on your waiting list?
For me it is an ER-301, octatrack and deckard’s dream MK2.
Not sure I need all of this gear at the moment (or that I actually afford it) but surely would be amazing to have.

HVAC for the attic, so I'll have more space to fill.
Re: What's on your waiting list?
My TD3 should be here shortly... Korg ARP Oddysey, Behringer Pro One, and going to start building my Instruo case shortly.
