Not that I want to add fuel to the fire... I can say with experience that the Quantum has perhaps the best "depth of synthesis to user interface experience" ratio out of any synth I've owned. It is so easy to just make weird and wild things just fall out of it.

It certainly has a different "sound" - hi-fi almost in comparison to my other synths...which is fine because none sound like this.

It also has like 1500 presets. I've yet to go through them all.

I bought a Quantum from a fellow wiggler a little over a week ago. I absolutely love it. I'm a visual learner so the touchscreen and visual feedback are a revelation. I love that I can load a preset I like and see how it's all put together.

It also sounds fantastic.

I strongly encourage anyone with concerns about the screen to watch the video I linked above. It's extremely detailed and informative.

Some of the reports of lack of sensitivity on the right side are due to lack of understanding of how the controls on those pages work - which is understandable due to how oddly the screen controls operate.
mine legit had to have a new touch screen installed--LFO6 could not be selected

just came back from Waldorf today and works like a dream now

The OB6 ....Maybe look into and listen to it. (unless you already have it). I believe it will cure your GAS for the Quantum.

I will try to cure my GAS for the Quantum by using Omnisphere and & processing it through my modular.

Yup, got one of those! :hihi:

I love it but it don't got no wavetables does it, nor none of that fancy granular shenanigans.
