I don't have any experience with Vermona stuff, but I definitely think that the 14 is one of the most aesthetically pleasing synthesizers designed. :goo:
It’s such a beautiful instrument. Looking at it makes me smile, and has a soothing effect on me. The light blue color. The beautiful pearl-colored knobs. The immediacy. THE SOUND. Gorgeous. Something that needs to be experienced, like a CS-80 or a 9-ft Steinway grand.
Noisemakers: Maracas. Squeaky shoes. Bean-induced flatulence.

Can I ask, how is the tuning stability on the Lancet and Lancet 15?

Apparently there were some slight changes to the VCA circuit for the '15 to reduce noise.
Which do you have? I’m considering buying the pre 15 for $250.
Yeah for $250 absolutely go for it!

I got the 15’ recently for $350 and absolutely love it but I can’t imagine the sound is that different between the two versions.
Thanks... ended up pulling the trigger :miley:

Cool, I was a bit worried, I had a slim phatty I had to sell, it was so hard to get in tune, a lot of drift and took about an hour to get to a usable level

All i can say is i havent noticed any tuning drift but i also havent used mine in a fair while. It's basically one voice of a perfourmer, so it's probably as stable as that synth is, which seems to be very stable.

I had one for a long time. Really fun, useful and great sounding machine. I think I used the filter more than the verb.

not sure if you're referring to the Lancet or the larger one. excellent thread on the Lancet over here: viewtopic.php?t=82423

I have one and love it. don't use it enough though, to be honest. I should work on that...
