Just got the Wavestation 1. Never liked the Waldorf synths in the past but since a few months I absolutely love them! Don´t know what happened - maybe I am missing the 90s :-)

The mighty Yamaha TX816!!!

Image

except in my case it's actually a TX116. Several years ago I bought a lonely TF1 module (at a ridiculously low price), with some grandiose idea of hacking it into a standalone unit. Never did that, but ran into an empty TX816 rack on ebay for 20$, so I bought it. So far I'm out 50$ on this thing. Anyone have a few spare TF1 modules you want to get rid of?

Well, that was a joke - it's called TX816, but he only has one of the individual modules in there...

The prices they are fetching are insane...

Looking forward to watch the hardcore edition. Not so much to read the Octatrack manual.

Interesting that after owning a blue-ray capable player for more than two years this is actually my first BD film :nana: To celebrate this happening I converted the below image to 16 color. Well not actually. Image came out of the camera looking shit so I applied what I often try when my composition sucks, - does it work better with less. In this case it did, even thought it still sucks

New 6-core Mac (w/ D700 GPU option) arrived this week after a long wait - admittedly purchased more for animation and art than for music, but I'm having a good time with Logic Pro X on it, too.

My new Vo-96 equipped acoustic arrived today. It is one of the strangest instruments to play. I am loving the modulation settings...droning and zoning out! Additive synthesis and an acoustic guitar= a happy marriage.
