Seriously thinking about digitalizing my record collection apart from sampling duties.[/img]
Goodluck! Took me 3 years to complete mine. The scanning of covers and labelling was the most tedious bit.

First bit of equipment I ever bought , it was this or the SU700 , and chose this, In retrospect should have gone with the SU700 but I got this just for the effects board really. Turning on the zip soon reminded me how annoying it is, but I knew that.
Bonus is the vocoder on this thing is excellent.

I bought one of these new too! Loved it.

Guess I have to think in decades when I'm moving on with the current non-speed I have...

This is the best synth I've ever tried for klang-bells-metal sounds... Can also play completely spaced out bubbling sounds. Filters are amazing and LFO has 3 different random waveforms ! Vive la France !

Yeah I really love the Swarm. I've gotten some evil sounding bass lines out of it as well. I always find myself using its sequencer as opposed to CV pitch control from a keyboard or another type controller.

Pre-ordered the Louder Than Liftoff Chroma+

Somehow, after 30 years of home recording, this is the first grown-up mic preamp I've ever purchased. I've used plenty of them in other studios, but when it came to my own gear I've always just plodded along with whatever came built into my Portastudio or Mackie Mixer.

The ability to plug Colour Modules into this thing is really what pushed it over the edge for me. I'm eager to try out the 1176 compressor and API transformer (Mass Drivr) modules.

Mass Drivr is wonderful. I have an Implode module but I prefer the Tone-Loc. Any of the color modules I've used which have trim pots and jumpers on the PCB annoy me because of how difficult it can be to tweak the settings. I have a testing jig, so that I can use my Color Palette 500 modules outside of the rack but I still end up mostly using stuff without any controls on the PCB.

My favorite modules so far are Mass Drivr, GT Channel, Tone-Loc and Pentode. I want to try the mk2 version of the 15-ips module, the first version clipped too easily.

i was buying an extra uzeus to power some modules i didnt hae busboard sockets/ampage spare to cover a 12u case of euro and saw i had disposable cash - so to fill my final 3u sparein that case, rathe than getting furthher modules, busboards, power and so one, i bought ona a whim...

a behringer pro1

now i shall have killer basslines with all the wonders of a pro 1 but euro compatible powerwise and patching wise in my generative sequencing case - 9u of math/logic/utility/quantising/chaos/random/statistics all to sequence and modulate a pro 1 as the main musical voice!

My heart sank reading this, as i started this job on my own inventory years back and only did about 110 off about 4k discs.
To save time I'd look up the the artwork on discogs...

Downloaded yseditor on Atari st for my Yamaha ys 100 synth. Lush sounding synth, basically a tx81z with a keyboard that's velocity and monophonic pressure sensitive. Bought the synth off of eBay, had a flat battery, my dad soldered a new battery holder in and put in a new cr2032.

I've been thinking of getting some percussion gear - and both a clave and a guiro were at the top of my list....

I'm on 124" :hihi: painted wall (special type of projector paint). It's sad how quickly you get used to these sizes though. I remember upgrading my 14" PC monitor to a 20" back in the days, i thought it was an immense upgrade in size.. Now i play games on a 124" and it feels like its the norm lol
