Finally got my order in for my 4th main thing - the new Grendel Grenadier RA-99. I'm still keeping my RA-9 as it is a beautiful machine as well. I think having both will avail me to some formant filter awesomeness the likes that my house has never seen... errr... heard.

My Elektron Model:Cycles arrived yesterday. After using it for a few hours, I also ordered a Model:Samples.

Took me about 30minutes but I've made a Sysex file for my Octatrack with 2 CV/LFO/Gate tracks, 6 trigger tracks, 3 clock+tick tracks and 1 transport run track to reset every module that has a reset input on the eurorack.

I should have bought the Hexinverter Mutant Brain the day I got the Octatrack, but better late than never.

Sent my RS-09 on to a better home the other day and put the proceeds towards an ARP Omni. Looking forward to getting it :D

Mutable Instruments Branches and Shades to go in the skiff my Nifty Bundle came in... Next up a Switch. Going super simple on the Eurorack stuff as I am mostly interested in utilities for my semi-modulars. I can see myself using Branches quite a bit. This my first purchase of Mutable's stuff...

I guess technically I already have a good deal of Plaits in my Microfreak and a good deal of Clouds in my Gecho Loopsynth.

Picked it up today after some wrangling with FedEx (signature confirmation is all well and good, but would it kill them to do those deliveries during hours when everyone isn't at work!? And their touted SMS updates spammed me with a dozen copies of the same information the night before the delivery attempt, but said nothing the day of until they'd already been and gone  Ugh...) It needs a bit more TLC than the seller let on, but nothing I probably wouldn't have done anyway (sliders, switches,) and the divide-down/synth components all appear to be in good working order. Loving the sound :D

That's cool @commodorejohn!

I know what you mean about FedEx (UPS too); I actually find the USPS updates the best.

Have fun with the Omni - would love to hear more from you after you break it in with some TLC.

Branches arrived today and Shades arrives tomorrow. I'll mount them tomorrow and see where I go from there. I actually think I'll be playing with my Hydronium tomorrow with the Erebus and do some bit of Acid Base with a cool lead, but I may change my mind...

ARP Omni 2 was my dream machine since 1979 and figured an RS-09 was more realistic (since I can't play chords). I recently got a RS-09 and still lust the Omni 2.

Anyhoo just got this:

The RS-09 is a nice little machine, but the vibe is totally different; it doesn't have that ultra-thick, shimmery Solina chorus on the strings, it's more like a faint pre-echo of the Juno chorus or something.

The Doepfer A-104 Trautonium Formant Filter, and some nice long blue patch cables so I can control the modular from my Odyssey.

Becos Stella Compressor. https://becosfx.com/product/compiq-pro- ... itar-bass/

A lot of pedal-format compressors overly simplify the controls and I wanted something with discrete ratio, gain, threshold and attack/release. The added saturation (overdrive) circuit and wet/dry mix is just icing on the cake.

Be careful, I hear they collapse as soon as you open the box.
