Sounds like you're about to have an adventure. Time to set fire to a Cohiba.

Wow!

Now all you need is a MIDI interface and a 15 HP electric motor.

I've just bought ( another ) Korg SQ-1 sequencer

When I sold my MS-20M (kit) I included the SQ-1 that was bundled with it.

Even though I have better things, I miss it ! So little, & battery powered....& some nice features ..& so goddamn quick to use

For an instant 'inspiration strikes' sequencer they're great. It can sit atop my 2600 :sb:

+1 for the SQ-1; really beautiful little boxes... And so inexpensive.

I didn't go for it. I mean it's only mono and yes I think 100 would be fair. I'd pay 250 for an ND2 I figured out. THX anyways...

3M Peltor X-Series Ear Muffs -X5A

See if I can safely finish my drum kit after the horrific tinnitus set in. Play by feel I guess. Maybe I can use my Ampeg VT-22 now (w/ the Sunn 18" PA cabinet out the back) for bass again.

It's a tightwire.

Behringer Neutron and Arturia Beatstep Pro. I'm starting a new music corner in my house for a quick, rough and dirty project. Stay tuned. 8-)

You go too high too early! Although the pattern represents a variety of objects to many cultures - a plow, wagon, coffin, skunk, camel, shark, canoe, bushel, sickle, even a hog's jaw. If the date was a dance, it'd be a tango. It wasn't romantic. Rise, red as the dawn. Ungodly and full of digital dirt. Make Noise 0-coast and Soulsby Atmegatron heavy.

Been kinda wanting to pick up a fretless bass for a while now, and spotted a good deal on somebody's Warmoth Gecko 5 build. Picked it up today and I'm quite pleased - them guys make solid kit, and the builder did a good job with it. Other than probably needing flatwound strings, I'm quite liking it.

As everybody knows LP Sambago bells are requisites to any electronic musician. The resonating bells are a minor third apart, are made of a type of plastic, and have a nice flat woody, complex timbre, which contrasts nicely with its relative the metallic agogo bells.
And I just got them.

Yeah I picked up a couple sets of those (many years back now) and installed a Piezo pickup in them to trigger bells and sounds on my V-Drum setup. Mostly inspired by Neil Peart of course (although he had a real bell tree setup). Works pretty good.

@fluxmonkey, look on the bottom of the bass drum...maybe there is a little "DH" in woodburning? It might also be a mark that looks like a pear?

It looks exactly like something I built...!

Edit: I found pix of the one I was thinking of...not the same, but very similar.
