arturia minibrute 'technotes'

Bump back from the dead. My Microbrute is tracking an octave higher than it should according to the manual. Octave selector is on green/0, leftmost key should be C2, closest Fine Tune knob gets me is A#2, so C3 it is! I've seen mention of this fabled 'Technote 6' around the internet but of course it's nowhere to be found. I really like the thread at Arturia where their tech support mentions it once, a host of others ask for help, and Arturia never responds!

I have Micro rather than Mini Brute, which tracks pretty well, and is well assembled. Mind you, it is my third - on the first two the master volume pot failed prematurely. It seems that if you get a good micro or mini brute then they are great, but the quality and parts quality is uneven to put it mildly.
