Good day, Roland! I was relistening of this Kyma-X piece from you:
https://soundcloud.com/roland-kuit/fm-w ... rator-test
"FM on Warped Phase Oscillator and Pattern Generation"

Very enjoyable sounds. Could you please tell a bit more what was happening in it?

Thanks koner, it was a phase distorting experiment.
In this vid the phase is altered by the sequencer's MIDIKeyPitch.
This creates different harmonics:

Thanks for additional examples, this is interesting.

"Warped" refers to waveshaping?

In case of modulating time it is.

In the bell examples frequencies were added to create metallic spectra.
In granular synthesis this is done by creating clusters of particles:

Multiplication & textures.

The grain word "Acousmatic" multiplied by 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256 times:

Micro-movements to bring an arco sample to life. Chaotic movements copied 24 x. You will hear different vibrato's in intensities and rates. As these are copies, we hear fase differences too fading in and out harmonics

Wavesfolding example:
Have you checked out FlipWrap?
https://kyma.symbolicsound.com/library/ ... -flipwrap/

It was a sound I worked on with some others to do multi-reflection folding (up to 255 folds). I find it a bit more easily controllable than the Input/Output version.

Now I did.
Beauty and cleverness :)
