Sometimes I think I should learn something new, but then I realize learning is for nerds. Jeskola Buzz for life, with expert sleepers loaded up in polac vsti controlling my DIY modular. Sometimes I wonder if I should try something new, for future proofing, but nothing let's me sequence so fast with hot keys. I can't be making 800 measures of music for 25 different synth parts with a mouse, clicking around a piano roll or whatever. And then I go back in while listening to the sequenced parts and record myself playing the modular with a keyboard for expression, gradually replacing the sequenced parts. I'm sure any DAW could do that, but not as quick and easy as buzz

I installed the newer version of Buzz on a windows laptop some time ago and have been enjoying Buzz again. I haven't been a big software/soft synth user for music, but this reminds me how great software can be. So much easier to get a structured piece done quickly that is easily replicated or to just get a sketch or an idea out quickly. Also, takes up a lot less space and costs less money. Now, if I could just get some sync between Buzz and my rig I'd be in heaven.
