drum software ideas

Post by criticalmonkey » Tue Nov 26, 2019 11:58 pm

i'm kinda in a rut with NI battery and stylus and bits and pieces
i make a lot of drum sounds on hardware synths but would like some sort of solution for work speed -
would love a drum synth idea in software
and super useful would be some classic machine emulations

any ideas? wondering if anything new is out there
mac based

http://www.audiospillage.com comes to mind, but not sure about the roadmap for future development.

For kicks - https://www.sonicacademy.com/products/kick-2
I use the first version all the time and love it for quickly creating the perfect kick, very satisfying

https://www.rayzoon.com - jamstix for me - you can try the free version - bit of a learning curve but nothing a good cup of coffee and a Sunday morning workout won't cure ...

I think you can use it to drive your native battery sounds

One of my favorite VST kicks is the D16 PunchBox. Should probably order modules for a eurorack version soon .......
