Volta + Roland System 100 Model 101

Post by EdgarOlivierCharles » Sat Mar 03, 2012 5:09 pm

Hi,

I've been using a Kenton to control my Roland System 100 Model 101 for over a year now, and it works great, but my original MOTU 828 just broke down and I've replaced it with the MOTU Audio Express, and since this sound card works with Volta, I've started looking into using Volta instead of the Kenton, or both. But I'm wondering if the Audio Express/Volta setup will work at triggering the System 100, as the Roland needs +14v input to be trigged and from my understanding MOTU hardware usually outputs +4v or at the most 6v?

I'm still pretty much a novice at the technical side of stuff, so I'm kind of confused as to what it is exactly I need to look into before deciding to purchase Volta.

Anyone tried running a System 100 Model 101 through Volta?

Thanks!
