Running ES-8 on a usb hub

Post by Dragonaut » Tue Feb 26, 2019 7:45 am

Hello, I was wondering if running the Es-8 off a usb hub would be recommended. I’ve heard that soundcards don’t like to be run off hubs but I’ve run out of ports. Also: the Silent Way LFO has a quadrature mode but only two LFOs. How would I go about achieving quadrature? Thanks!

In my experience the ES-8 is happy on a hub. It probably depends what else is on the hub - more than one audio interface on the same hub might be pushing your luck.

Using the LFOs in transport-locked mode is an easy way to get any number at the same rate but different phases.
