FH-2 Encoder problem?

Post by actionmusic2 » Mon Jan 13, 2020 9:19 am

I upgraded to 1.8 today, all ok with firmware but I noticed the encoder didn't seem to be working as before, I can press and it selects Presets - press - edit presets - press - Direct but turning either way won't select any values or sub menus. I've gone back to 1.7.2 but this persists. Anything else I can try ?

edit: the 1.7 config tool is still recognising and I can outputs cv/s as before just the encoder problem it seems

Nothing changed in the firmware. Have you taken it out of the case, had a look, re-installed it?

yes , nothing seems to be physically out of place, put in another case, no connections in fh-2 same.
odd, although I didn't make any use of the encoder before updating firmware, which only requires the press.

I can't think of any explanation other than hardware failure, but that's most bizarre if so.

Email me if you want to talk about repair, with your purchase details if you can remember.
