ES-9 issues

Post by dmtoad » Wed Jan 29, 2020 3:35 am

Hi,

I just received my new ES-9 and I’m experiencing some issues:
I’m using Ableton Live and/or VCV Rack as my main DAWs.
Windows 10 64bit
Es9 firmware 1.0.1

Using the WASAPI sound driver, I get poor latency performance + I can only use the 16 inputs or the 16 outputs but not in/out at the same time.

I installed asio4all driver and I get better latency times but the sound is crackling even with 512 buffer.

Questions :
Do you have a native ASIO driver for the ES-9?
If not can you recommend a solution to get all ins/out working with good latency without crackles ?

Thanks in advance,
Sami

I just replied to your mail. There's no need to both mail and post here.

My reply was
as it says in the user manual, there's a driver here:

Hi,

I read a post before but can't seem to find it now.

How to i setup my ES9 to output signal from the main L+R outputs?
(I'm going from my rack into my audio interface (Focusrite) and all i want to do is record what's coming from my rack)

I don't care about using the USB output on the ES9 (that's a problem for another day)

Can anyone help explain to me in detail how to setup the outputs so i can hear what my rack is doing and be able to record the signal from it into ableton.

(I don't think it's an issue with my audio interface, microphones and guitar leads are working fine on the inputs. So i'm assuming it's the ES9 needing to be setup)

How do i do that?

(Sorry for ranting, just frustrated that i've had all these modules for months and haven't been able to use them until i got the ES9)
