Mapping of ES-9 sysex config

Post by mr_karlos » Thu Feb 20, 2020 3:45 pm

I'm trying to create an ES-9 tool in M4L. I have the basic in/out comms in place and now I'm working on extracting the settings from the dump.
Does anyone have a mapping of the ES-9 sysex config dump?
I can see that position 10 is the HPF mask. I can work the the rest one by one but I want to watch the rugby this weekend!

Anyone?

Actually, the mapping is quite easy to reverse engineer.

The main challenge is how the '3 bytes of value' for the Set Mix reflect the actual value.

Os, any clues?

I would suggest you have a look at the javascript code in the tool. The mix is a 16 bit value split over three 7 bit MIDI bytes.
