ES-9: Firmware Crash

Post by Black » Fri Mar 13, 2020 7:48 am

just received my ES-9 a couple days ago.

Connected it to my Mac. Selected ES-9 from the loudspeaker menu, and could hear music from the headphone connection at ES-9. So far so good.

Visited the website, downloaded the "firmware" for Mac. Started it, it crashed. Repeated this several times.

Here is the error message - do you need the entire stack trace?

What can I do? Can I somehow avoid installing a Google browser?

Thanks for this, though there's no need to update the firmware on the ES-9 - there's been no new release since it was released.

Good. In fact I wanted to download the configuration tool but did not find the link on your site. The relevant page shows only two subtitles, "User Manual", and "Firmware Updates", where the links are always a text in a colour. The configuration tool has no subtitle, and its links are no text but some symbol representing the OS, and it is hidden somewhere in the very end of the page. I guess there are more people who will not find this...
