Is it possible to adjust the timing for an individual gate in Silent Way?

No, but what's the bigger picture here? There may be some way to achieve what you need.

You can use track offsets and device delays inside your DAW to achieve this. What software are you running Silent Way in?

I use ES-40, ESX-8GT, Silent Way through Live 10 with a small Eurorack setup for 6 drum voices. Curiously my hi-hats voice (regardless of what module(s) I use) sound consistently late. I was hoping to find a way to delay the the other 5 voices to try and compensate for the lag. Monofunk, do you know of a way to do this in Live?

I found the "Delay Compensation/Track Delay" features in Live and am testing them out now...

Is the hi-hat voice a digital module? Maybe it's latency.

Yes you can try adjusting the track delay by a positive or negative amount. You could also adjust the MIDI data that you are feeding the Silent Way plugins and offset those notes to compensate for the hi-hat voice.

I am using the WMD Crucible module which is digital. How might latency be a factor?

I am using 6 notes (one for each drum sound) on one MIDI channel. Is there a way to adjust the MIDI data for one note in Live?

I should also mention, I have a track in Live with sample of a click playing a 16 note pattern that I am using to test the Crucible hi-hat latency against. The click track sounds perfectly on time with all the other eurorack drum sounds, and I can get the Crucible hats to sound like they are exactly lined up, but when I mute the click track the Crucible hats sound off/late. Even with different track delay settings in Live. It’s very odd.

There's going to be a delay between the time the trigger is received and when you hear the sound. I'm not sure how significant this is with that module.

You could make a separate MIDI track in Live routed to the same destination and use it to sequence that one MIDI note.

I was using an expression pedal with the Crucible (hi-hat) modules decay CV input and it turns out it was adding an offset to the decay and making the sound longer. When I take the pedal out of the patch the offset goes away and the timing becomes tight. I don't know why but when the decay is set to anything but the shortest setting it makes the hi-hats sound late!?! Especially on a 16th note pattern. Strange.

Maybe WMD will have answers about this if you ask them.

Good idea. I'll shoot them an email.
