ES-9 Running Warm

Post by StructuredCredit » Sat Mar 21, 2020 11:46 pm

Just received my ES-9 from Control a few days ago. It is working perfectly with CV Tools in Ableton, but I have noticed that it gets very warm, even with only a few inputs and outputs active. It seems to run hotter than any other module that I have, including a couple of 4ms Row Power 40s. Anything to be concerned about? Perhaps its to be expected drawing 451mA of +12V and 133mA of -12V. Have it mounted with a Pamela's New Workout + PEXP-1 and a 4ms Listen IO in a powered 4ms Pod34X for reference.
