ES-9 click/clip/glitch on audio output or phones

Post by txprog » Wed Mar 25, 2020 2:06 pm

Hi,

I just updated my ES-9 with latest firmware 1.1.1, but i hear on phones output and main L/R output click/tick when audio is played.
I have tick/click on audio output MAIN L/R + PHONES from the modules, but all is ok in USB.

After few minutes, even with reset to defaults, i got everything screwed, and all input channels except 1&2 where maxed with noise, on MAIN L/R + PHONES + USB.

Any tips?

EDIT: my bad, USB is not ok either.

This is a video that demonstrate the noise after few minutes, even when nothing is connected:

1&2 is stereo input, looks ok on ableton
5 in mono input, looks maxed out on ableton.

You can also see what the mixer say (entry 9&10 on the XR window), look maxed out too.

Are you saying this is a new issue in 1.1.1? Have you tried reverting to 1.0.1?

I tried this morning again, no more glitch or noise after few minutes when flash back to 1.0.1, works great again.
Maybe something did go wrong during flash or an issue with the latest firmware?
