disting EX change of default MIDI mapping in v1.2

That's broken a lot of stuff for me :(

Is it possible for me to make an alternative mapping file that restores the previous arrangement (starting at CC1) and have that used as the local default?

You've been pretty busy if that's broken "a lot" of stuff - the module's only been out a couple of weeks! :)

You can certainly edit the mapping and save it. You can set that as a start-up mapping, but it will be wiped with defaults when you switch algorithm, so you'd have to load it again.

I know I've been busy! I made a TouchOSC control surface to manage every aspect of the EX. And the TouchOSC editor is so lame that its impossible to do any kind of batch editing. So while in a sensible editor it it would be trivial to do a batch edit to minus 6 from each CC value, in the editor I'm stuck with I have to edit every single entry by hand. Which will be the opposite of trivial.

I think my only option is to do just that. But you've got to promise me you're not going to do this again :foul:

I have no plans to do it again. The reasoning behind it was that
a) it's easier to remember parameter number == CC number
b) if you connect a keyboard with a mod wheel, which sends CC #1 by default, you don't end up accidentally changing a parameter.

Don't suppose you could make it a selectable option in future releases? Default = 7 with an option of 1?
