EX envelope, hanging notes (PolyWavetable algo)

In PolyphonicWavetable:
I have for some time wondered about stuck notes (or perhaps, notes with max release) when adjusting envelope release. Now I have finally investigated a bit more. Here is a setup that should make the stuck notes clear:
Attack 0, Decay 127, Sustain 0, Release 50 (or so). I feed EX an 1/8 note arpeggio via midi. Envelope 2 is not doing anything.
Now when I slowly increase Release, the note played at the time a new Release value is received, will be hanging for several seconds. (I use a midi controller to change the Release, but result is the same when using direct module knob control.
If I stop the incoming midi notes as soon as I have a stuck note, it will keep being stuck, but if I let the arp play, then the stuck note will disappear after some seconds, - I assume it is when that same voice is triggered again.
