New version of TL072?
Hi, I just got a new batch of "standard" TL072 (from Farnell). I ordered TL072CP, but what I got was TL072IP. I have tried to find out what the "IP" stands for, but have been unable to sort it out. It all falls back to explanations about surface-mount ICs, but the ones I got was definitely the standard DIP through-hole components. Them seem to work all right, though, but any hints of explanation of the change is welcome.

IP is able to perform to specification over the wider industrial temperature range. CP is the narrower commercial temperature range. Since you'll not have to worry about extreme temperatures for the most part, either device can be used.
