.mix .knob .replacement

Post by proturboplus » Sun Jan 19, 2014 11:16 am

Hi!

I like the .mix, but the colors of the knobs (eurorack) are not really my favorite ones. :hihi:

Can somebody give me the specs of these knobs in order to replace them?

I'm looking for something similar as these ones, which I have on my other eurorack modules:

Thanks!

Those knobs you linked to are 5/8" which will fit, but will make it SUPER cramped with cables plugged in. The original knobs are DAVIES CLONES which are 1/2" in diameter. Any 1/2" knob will work, I wouldn't put anything bigger on it.

Thanks for the info, so they have the same 6mm splined shaft as the doepfer ones?

(Just wondering, aren't there any black Davies clones?)

there are, just a separate item number. depending on if you want the ABS plastic or the Phenolic. No splined shaft! You need knobs to fit 1/4" shafts w/set screw.
