STG .shn troubleshooting?

Post by Shining Fields » Tue Nov 20, 2018 10:13 pm

Howdy friends!
I recently received an STG .shn Sample, Hold, Noise from a friend who said it was having trouble. The output sends out a constant negative voltage and the normalized connection from the white noise out to the control input seems to not work. Even when an external control and trigger are sent in, the unit seems to send a voltage in the negative range (according to my scope) and needs to be seriously attenuated to have a regular effect. Has anyone had any experience with the unit acting up or have an idea to the cause?
Sorry if my explanation isn't clear, I can provide sound samples and images soon
