Mini Modular knob caps

Post by billsship » Sat Feb 21, 2015 6:23 pm

Anyway you could tell us where you got these little knob caps? Or could you possibly sell some of these? They're really nifty. The picture is from the e350 2hp expander thread.
Thanks

Not sure if these would fit but they do stretch, there are also shorter ones on the site.

Those are pretty small.
I have a bunch that fit over knurled pot shafts.
I PM'd him.

I'm trying to remember the company... It was 7 years ago...

I ordered 5000 of them (MOQ) and I've used about a third :woah:

They're little plastic covers primarily utilized for protecting screw threads during sandblasting operations....

I sorta re-purposed them because my pots were so close together.

Found my 7-year old invoice...

Its a company called MoCAP.

They make a ton of different sizes and shapes of all sorts of stuff.

for a 1/4" shaft, i picked up the RVC9012
.218" x 0.500" std cap in vinyl.

http://www.mocap.com/plastic-caps-round-vinyl.html

Their catalog has all sorts of stuff that make you think about what you could use them on...

MMM was kind enough to send me a few, and I also grabbed a few from this seller on eBay (http://www.ebay.com/itm/261422967620?_t ... EBIDX%3AIT)

They're both very similar, but the ones from the Mini Modular are thinner and fit just a tiny bit better. The ones from eBay fit well, but aren't as flush with the pot shaft as the others.

My only complaint is that they were a little bit slick on my fingers. Maybe it's because I just cooked breakfast!

Thanks again! :sb:
