Quad AD Pot Values

Post by Henfield » Tue Nov 06, 2012 1:01 pm

I am looking at getting the Quad AD/ASR Envelope Generator Board, and building into a 2 space Dotcom compatible module, but I cannot find any info on what pot values are needed. Where do I find this info and the same info for the other Mattson pre-stuffed boards?

At the top of this forum is a sticky with all of our resource links.
Hopefully, I have everything covered

The QuAD/ASR utilizes 8xA1M pots.

The parts list and where they connect to the board are found on my DIY WIKI site. It's in .pdf format for easy viewing and for printing:

http://www.mattsonminimodular.com/wiki/ ... ator_Board

All of the available DIY products follow that format and can be found in the main DIY WIKI:

Just above the module information section are a couple of links to help with the wiring conventions and board sizes.

Hope this helps.

George,

Thank you for the links, I missed the "1M" for pot values! One other question, that I could not find for this module or the Quad VCA, is what is the current consumption? I am looking at using these modules in a small system with a portable power supply, so I am limited on current usage. One the Wiki pages, it says "TBD", and there isn't anything in the forum either.

Um...Um...Um...

They're on there... :)

Oops, thanks for npointing that out. Well, they're on there now :bacon:

QVCA V+: 35mA
V-: 35mA
(2164's are energy hogs)

QuAD/ASR: V+: 8mA
V-: 0

So, at least the V- info for the AD1 was correct

Only 8 mA for the QuAD/ASR?

That makes up for the QVCA!

Thanks!!!!

That's idling. It jumps up to 12mA with all four EG's at peak.

I tried it on two seperate modules and used two different meters. But, yeah.
