Variable ways to clock Rene

Post by Carrot » Sat May 23, 2020 7:32 am

Hi guys.
I believe there is much cool stuff to Rene, but I "hate" that I only run it with a clock. I would love to have variable gate lengths available.
How could I achieve this though???

Any ideas?

Cheers

Thanks, this was a good opportunity for me to reread Rene's manual. The variable gate lengths are on page 18 under the FUN.OP.TRIG function. It lets you pass the width of the incoming clock to the gate output for variable lengths gates.

But I have rene v1. There is No Fun.

I thought about getting rid of it, though it's one of the most expensive modules I ever bought. But now I'm committed to re-reading the manual and giving it another chance.

I suspect I might be more of a "Sequencer from the the DAW" kinda guy. But also not sure about that.

Renes in’s work brilliant with pams. Easy Peary gate lengths.
Maths can lengthen your gates as well. Mix with some other modulation for changes in there.
The logics are really nice as well. Would recommend some renewed deep diving, it’s a really fun sequencer.

:hyper: Amazing stuff. I'll head over to the manual right away. (BTW. Sorry I was so dumb and didn't think of the manual first, before asking here. SORRYYY!!!!)
