Removing Encoder Knobs

Post by Brennanib » Tue Feb 23, 2021 5:10 pm

Recently received a Intellijel zeroscope 1u and looking to change the panel on the module.

Was curious how anyone in the past has done so, don’t want to break the pot/shaft

Also the same for my Pamelas New Workout.

Thanks for your time!

Search for knob puller. Stew mac sells them but you can get them cheaper somewhere else. You can build a knob puller. You can use two plastic pry bars.

Go to an automotive store or a place like Harbor Freight, get a set of trim & molding tools - they're pry bars for removing interior trim panels, usually made of plastic, different shapes and sizes.

Just pull it. Pam’s comes off easy. Intellijel knobs are easy as well. No need to overthink it
