Ah! You're a lot taller than me, so it's probaly jot an issue!MindMachine wrote:Likely my poor photo skills that are misleading. The highest large Euro rack there is 70 inches and I am 72 inches tall. My desk top is high enough that I can pull a piano bench up to it and sit and play. Also the ceiling has been built up with many layers of wood, drywall and Quiet Rock, so it is 1-3/4 inches lower than normal US ceilings. I am actually able to add another row of Euro within easy arms reach.mousegarden wrote:I often wonder how folks get on with cases and modules that are high up and out of reach? To be able to concentrate and patch everything has to be within reach of a sitting position. The thought of having to get up all the time to reach modules would do my head in.MindMachine wrote:

Synton 3000 modules and keyboard. It’s what led to the fenix.

Sweet! I figures it was that, or maybe a bunch of the half-height Formant modules. Christ, that is a LOT of Synton modules.... Post some close-ups of those, please!Morley wrote:Hi there Dave!Dave Peck wrote:

Synton 3000 modules and keyboard. It’s what led to the fenix.

I’ll upload after I have installed everything. A few modules are doa but most work fine. I tested a few and it sound great. Very nice filters and vco’s. Nothing crazy, but solid and accurate.MindMachine wrote:^ David... WOW. Please upload some videos for history's sake. Those are so rare. You always find the gems.
Are you still using the Polyfusion? I almost cried went the 2500 was dealt. You made it sing nicely.
Congrats!
I nearly cried when I sold the ARP but hey, when things become too valuable, I don’t want to be looking after them, I want to be using them..

I hate you so much. Not really, lol. I couldn't play a Marimba Lumina, but that thing is gorgeous.rkilman wrote:

bug/phenol looks super fun!!Voltage_Controller wrote:I posted this on insta few days back - I am about to rearrange because my 73-75 is almost ready to be incorporated - not sure how I am going to do that, because I would like bugbrand/phenol/73-75 to be all one "system" but I'll figure it out.

I honestly can't play it that well myself (not a trained percussionist but getting better all the time).

Hi thereSynthacon wrote:Really nice to see some Synton. What is the general make up of the system regards oscillators etc?
I dont have a complete run down but
8 VCOs
8 VCFs (2 types, hi and lopass x4 and multimode x4)
8 envelopes (4 voltage controlled)
4 env followers and comparators
At least 10 VCA and mixers, plus s&h noise, dividers, lfos etc
It will do full on 4 voice poly or single vco 8 voice poly
It’s a nice system
