Greetings,

Peter,

Just ordered in US, let's see how long it takes. I've had good luck with Lulu in the past and hope for the same.

Yes, much interest in Vol 2 and then whatever else you have in the big pile! Thanks for doing this and keep up the good work of passing on the info. We can't let this stuff be lost to history and/or too difficult to find for the future synth enthusiasts.

Regards, Jim

I hope you get it soon, considering the encouragement you gave me to finally get off my butt.

I'm wondering if there is any interest in a book 2. That would include essays on system design, performance, advanced generative patches, and any other topics wigglers might suggest.

Greetings,

Just a heads' up. I received a shipping notice over the weekend and the book arrived today! So, less than a week from order. Lulu is doing a great job in case anyone is concerned.

Thank you Peter for making this available...................looking forward to Vol 2 and whatever else you may have.

Regards, Jim

My copy took about the same time to arrive. A great book for any synth fan.

Got my copy in the mail today (super fast international shipping!) and it looks awesome -- very clear concepts and layout. As a beginner to the world of modular synthesis, I really appreciate that Peter made this available. Recommended!!

Thanks for your support. Sales have been sort of flat(line), so I need to figure out a way to spread the word. Any suggestions?

I realize this is kind of after-the-fact, but some sort of a presence at Knobcon or Synthplex may help spread the word. I know that Chicago may be a bit of a schlep, but if they hold another Synthplex next year, Southern California isn't all that far from you. :tu:

P.S.: I got my copy earlier this year and think it's great!

You could probably have sold a large number of copies at Knobcon this year, but it is a long trip from California. There were hundreds of people that would have been interested in a book like yours.

Just grabbed a copy from Lulu, looking forward to delving into it!

I expect to be interested in volume 2 as well.

Ebook might be a good option. I am not seeing this on the Lulu site. Printing the book in the USA and posting it to me in Thailand is $68.99 which is the express option but it has tracking. There is a cheaper option without tracking but in Thailand that means there is more than a good chance it will go "missing".

Everyone is saying its a great book so i imagine they will sell very well in a shop like Perfect Circuit and all the others.

Some sort of bundle deal with Thonk would probably work. Radio Music kit plus the book promo? or whatever.

Same thing with Noise Engineering or 4MS or any other manufacturer. You send over a box of books(or Lulu does) and they offer some kind of promo deal when purchased with modules. Maybe you don't send any books. The customer buys the module and Lulu is prompted to despatch a book?

Get it discussed on a podcast like the Divkid one. Competition and giveaways?

Google your book and there are no photos of it anywhere. Nothing on Instagram. Nothing about it on youtube.

My copy seemed to go on tour with a drunken rock band or something....
It is now in Kent WA. maybe an hour away at the most to my house in Seattle... But, it's scheduled to be delivered in three more days...

Look at this travel log! It started in Massachusetts and returned to Ohio three times.. Then to Montana eventually only to go to Georgia FFS!!

KENT, WA
HARRINGTON, WA
FOREST PARK, GA
EAST GLACIER PARK, MT
HARLEM, MT
COLUMBUS, OH
HARVEY, ND
ST PAUL, MN
GROVEPORT, OH
CICERO, IL
GROVEPORT, OH
GROVEPORT, OH
NORTH JACKSON, OH
NORTHBOROUGH, MA

I'm laughing at this the entire time.... :hihi:
But really? Is the future going to be this convoluted?
I'm not angry or complaining, I just thought I'd share the funny thing...

I've had the book for about a year, and finally got around to reading it over the last few days, trying stuff out with the modular as I read.

I thought it was excellent; very clear. Made me try out a bunch of stuff I'd never thought to try out, and clarified a number of things along the way.

Thanks.
