Anything modular synth related that is not format specific.

First of all I must say that this thread is truly wonderful and I really enjoyed reading about other people’s experiences.

I’m 40 years old and have just put together a modular system after around 15 years playing the guitar and soft synths. I have always been attracted to hardware synths but only now afford to buy them.

I also have a relatively busy, stressful corporate job - probably like many others here - and three toddlers under 5 years. So time is extremely limited, but having a new set up that I loved had made me more appreciative, and hopefully efficient in the use of free time.

Using a modular synth feels like nothing else I have experienced musically, and i can’t see myself moving away from it any time soon! I’ll probably be still posting here in a few decades from now (I hope)!
