Modular to Oscilloscope Cable

What do you all use? I found this:

http://www.addacsystem.com/en/products/ ... /addac0017

But no other options. Is this the best/only thing on the market? Did you DIY?

I inherited a rather nice tube/vintage Tektronix scope and I want to see some sweet wave forms. Show and tell on how you connect your external scopes to your system. Thanks!

I just clip the leads from a probe onto a patch cable. Not a problem for euro cables. For 1/4" 5U cables, I sometimes unscrew the endcap of the jack so I can clip on the leads.

Cut a stackcable (a longer one) in two halves
and solder probe plugs to the ends.

3.5mm mono to RCA cable, then RCA to BNC adapter taped on to it.
I use 'scopes a bit, exploring vector graphics, and don't see much value in hogging HP for connector conversions

I have a very ghetto little DS212 for basic troubleshooting, which uses passive 1x probes by default. I ordered some spares, chopped the ends off them, tinned with with a soldering iron. I had some handy mono 3.5mm sockets with screw terminals to hand, so being lazy, just screwed those on the end.

It works a treat- ran through calibration, things looked sane. Plugged some patch cables in from a running synth, and could see what was going on. Pretty sure that for audio rate stuff, adaptors or casual butchery will work fine for most 1x probes if you don't want to order those very tidy-looking cables.

I made my own with BNC and monojack in the other end, shielded.
Works ok, but sadly I dont have parts list, but they are available on ebay etc.

I have a little pocket scope - seeed DCO quad. It works ok and takes up no room. The connectors are little MCX things, and I couldn't find a source for just buying plugs without extra hardware for crimping etc.
By far the cheapest solution was to buy this for £6

Chopping the lead off at the base, binning the antenna and adding a mono 3.5mm. Works a charm for Eurorack.
Just crazy that this was the cheapest solution.
