I wonder if someone like peter forrest will know where Geoff went? Have you tried making enquiries perhaps on Analogue Heaven?

Thats even stranger...if you still have it...because one of mine is also 0085.

I talked to a guy who have worked for Orgon Systems and he told me there where 150 ENIGISERs made in all.
Highest I ever seen today is 98 ..but I know that there are unmarked ones and one of mine has the number -70007-

That sucks!

I never had a problem with Orgon Systems and all people Ive talked with who have bought stuff from them always talked only good of both Geoff and Zara. The delivery time was somewhat erratic, but you are the first I heard who have a bad experience of Orgon Systems.
Since i am great fan of them I find this very disturbing

Did any of these get sold in the US? I remember reading about it in future music magazine wishing I could afford to buy one.

If I were to get one from overseas, how would I power it?

I saw it in the magazine too. Back in those days genuine new analog was rare and far between though Doepfer was on the scene I believe.

No I've never seen a report of one selling new in the U.S. but I did see the UK magazine article. Those magazine were being imported more and more around then. I kind of wanted one but not enough to get shipping quotes. I was sort of hoping more would be available. I think there was mention on the Analogue Heaven list with people saying they tried to make contact they never got a response.

As for powering it, I don't know the exact details but it's certainly do-able. One approach is to simply get a 220-240v converter that has enough amperage and is decent quality which doesn't sound hard to achieve. The other more advanced technique is to get a power supply that delivers the voltage being used internally

Actually back a couple years before the Exclusively Analog Aviator came out in England and seems to be more obscure, rare and semi modular to boot

Alright, i got it :)
It has been sitting on a wall and various other surfaces with some extra gear attached.

I finally got my new audiointerface so new recordings can be made with these, showing some full extent of their potential.

Now THAT'S a great synthesiser (yes, with an "s" - it's British!).
I'm lucky enogh to own one of the 35 units made. Unfortunately it will need some TLC before I can use it again.

But I still want an Enigiser (can buy it or trade it for EVEN RARER synths)...

Cheers,
Bert

Just one Enigiser, delay and reverb, no multi tracking just knobbing in realtime. No compressor or limiter is used.

cool demo, I have also an Enigiser. :hyper:
But you say "no multitracking", and there are several layers of sound...

I have never been a customer but I too have heard similar tales of unreliability over the years. Beermaster is not the only one.

Thanks.
Yes but the Enigiser is capable of producing several harmonics at the same time, in my demo the high pitched sound is the oscillator and the bass humming sound is the resonance of the filter modulated by the lfo, and last but not least the sub oscillator giving a fairly midrange type sound due to the vco:s high pitch.

As the sub oscillator is directly applied in the vca section, the filter never cut it.
