Very nice Todd.
I really like the fact that once the Blippoo is set it plays itself so good. And that Quasar preset :chug:

Now you need to make a video Blippoo/Easel :hihi:

inspired by great work of the 'newcomers' :hihi: (misa, vgermuse, shortsleeves) I recorded a bit of this morning's tussle wth the blippoo box and macumbista benjolin.

(I also compiled a little 'blippoo with friends' playlist I put together some time ago here: http://soundcloud.com/sundog70/sets/blippoo-box )

Hey hey! OK! I'm slowly getting my bearings and working toward an interactive patch between the Blippoo and Easel. Here is the next step along
that journey: The Blippoo feeding CVs to the Easel.

Thanks for the encouragement!

Yyyyyeeeesssss. Very nice. Thank you. :nana:

To me, the Blippoo Box and the Music Easel are both the most compact and powerful synths. So many possibilities with them.

Would love to hear more TriOUT to MO index in FM/AM with Rungling and crossmod! Easel audio to TwinPeak too.

Man, can't decide if I want Blippoo bananas or 1/4" jacks.

Nice Todd (as always)!

I think this really shows what I have been saying for years; if you connect the Blippoo to any other synth/modular it really "transfers" the Blippoo´s soul into that instrument. It is contagious. And wonderful.

I'd compare it to a drug. One dose of Blippoo, and you go mad, but as soon as you unplug the cables the „normal” synth goes back to its daily routine 8-)

Lukasz

Thanks guys for the kind comments and taking the time to watch/listen!

Here is today's video, this time using the Easel to feed the Blippoo.
It is just a single module from the Easel. More of my explorations of other CV outs of the Easel at the link at the end of this post.

Easel =CV, Blippoo=Audio. By sending the Buchla Easel's Sequential Voltage Source (SVS) to the Blippo Box it acts as a very rough/rudimentary preset sequencer. The first part of the video explores the various "settings" available from a single slider. Later explorations sequence diverse slider settings.

hi guys

some of you were asking about this. It is released now. It has blippoo all over it, that and an ancient cranky delay is most of what I used, but hopefully that is not the most interesting thing about the album, produced by myself and David Ross. Sleevenotes and kind support from David Sylvian

I lost track of how to embed here!

Thanks Ben! Here is today's exploration:
My rudimentary explorations continue into the Easel—Blippoo environment.
This is an experiment using the Blippo’s S&H to drive the Easel’s Pulser and the Easel’s LFO to drive the Blippo’s FCV in. Blippo audio is going into the Easel’s Aux In and coming up on LPG 2 while the Easel audio is on LPG 1. Enjoy!

Wow, very cool. This style of music doesn't often grab and hold my attention but this really did. These two things certainly seem to compliment each other well. Nice!

Wow! Outstanding work! Blippoo fetishism may be nice in itself, but this is beyond it, this is really the kind of music I like to listen to more than once or thrice. The electronics are subtle, but strong. Bubbly twin peaks unmistakenly... The shakuhachi made my day, magic.
Also nice production and cover art. Vinyl release closes the case. Must have.
Mucho thanks!
