I was taking the honda for a spin last night, thought I'd try some oscillator reset by patching Kermit in osc mode into the synch input of PH3... The result was not what I expected. It seemed to track the pitch versus reset the wave. Perhaps I'm misunderstanding what sync does, but I thought it would reset the phase of the wave and not affect the pitch. Perhaps there is a setting or some other functionality associated with the sync input somewhere that I missed. Please school me on my total misunderstanding of what I'm trying to do.
Thanks,
Piston Honda MKIII Sync Input

Re: Piston Honda MKIII Sync Input
The ph has hard sync, which changes the pitch of the slave oscillator, while producing interesting timbres.
What you are probably looking for is soft sync, which nudges the oscillators wave more so.
I dont think the ph has soft sync im afraid, but hardsync is fab.

I didn’t know there was different kinds of sync. Thank you.
