Compressor?! I'd be interested to see what The Harvestman unique touches are on compression!

If compressor why the 4x Tricolour LEDs? Metering?

I hope it is metering, and the standard meter next to it is for sidechain...

"CONTEMPT" would be a good synonym for compression.

Weird, it was deleted from my muffs account. Image must have been cached for me because I could see it.
Anyway, uploaded again and provided URL as well.

I don't know what the Escalation Dominance is, but given the "vindication" in the following photo, I'll guess that it's related to this "Contempt" module.

Image

Vindication and Contempt is an album by Law (1997. Holy shit, I'm old). If he's taking this joke to the very limit, I'll guess this all has to do with mixing and mastering (including compression).

Sadly, I know more about The Harvestman's music tastes than I do his modules; I should address that, sometime.

A clue!

Where'd that come from?

From ModularGrid(How'd I miss this):

"The unit is expandable by Vindication, which adds six attenuate/offset controls to the CV inputs - frees up the main unit's inputs as dedicated envelope triggers (works standalone), and Contempt, which adds metering and dynamics processing to the stereo output (also works standalone)."

Unsure if related, but Double Andore mk1 has LAW for envelope curve type.
