v1.6
Nov 11, 2019

Bug fixes:
* Adjusted scaling of preset CV input for consistent operation when multed to other Mark III preset inputs.

v1.5
May 20, 2019

Bug fixes:
* Eliminated leading zeroes from frequency display.
* Y axis attenuator properly updates either oscillator selection.

New features:
* Extended frequency resolution. Fine tune is finer, attenuated modulation is more subtle.
* Unison selections now feature fifths (like Hertz Donut).

v1.3
May 2, 2019

Bug fixes:
* Increased sampling frequency of CV inputs for better transient response and fast modulation.

v1.2
August 14, 2018

Bug fixes:
* A test condition escaped the test mode enclosure and sometimes led to ADC slowdown at startup. It has been eliminated.

New feature:
* Startup preset mode changed.
Under the "Startup" item in the global options menu, you may now select "Preset off", "Preset x", or "Morph x" where x is the preset number of 1-8. When the system is restarted, the module will boot into the specified mode with the preset number selected. Note that if your Preset Knob Mode is set to offset and the physical position of the preset attenuator knob is not zero (or if voltage is present on the Preset CV input), this will affect the selected preset number.

v1.1
April 24, 2018

Bug fixes:
* When both oscs are selected, the XYZ position of Oscillator B did not show the influence of the CV inputs. Fixed.

Feature addition:
* soft reboot (in global options menu)
A disturbance in your power supply may cause Piston Honda mk3 to react more slowly to CV input. Rebooting the module through this menu will restore normal operation without needing to power down your entire system. Remember, always power down your modular system before adding or removing modules!

This is great!

Am I correct in noticing a different behavior with the attenuverters on the x, y and z wave cv inputs? I think I used to be able to dial in different modulation ranges between the two oscillators by selecting the oscillator and dialing in the attenuverter values I wanted on x y and z, then switching over to the other one and dialing in their x y z modulation ranges differently. I notice this still works as long as only one oscillator is selected, but as soon as I select both in order to go to the other one, my attenuverter values are updated on both oscillators to match the actual position on the panel. That was kind of a mouthful to explain but I hope what I mean is clear. :)

I think on the previous firmware I was able to go between osc A and B, and tweak their responses to incoming cv individually per oscillator.
Or am I imagining this?

The behavior I’m noticing is actually only true for the Y cv input, x and z do maintain their unique attenuverter values despite selecting both oscillators or toggling between them. Needless to say if this is a pretty insignificant bug

Thanks for mentioning before I updated. I'll document the before and after right now.

Good eye.
That same issue (Y-axis does not allow different CV behaviour to be set for each oscillator) exists in the previous firmware as well.

He found the bug and an update is coming soon which will also include:
* the donut fifths unison modes
* and MAX SUBTLETY on attenuated CVs

that’ll be great, it was definitely worth getting the pick programmer to be able to do these updates

Thanks for your recent MkIII firmware posts. They are quite helpful. :chug:
