Volkmire's Inferno is the granular processor that scott has planned for 2012.

That is fucking awesome PF. Harvestman is the only shit I really miss after selling off all my Euro for Buchla and Serge. I am really leaning towards doing a dedicated Harvestman setup like that.

But what the fuck is a Volkmire's Inferno? Is it going to be a Harvestman type input device?
Do it, you never regret doing a dedicated Harvestman synth.

He is far from limited, hahahaha... here´s a pic I took last month, and it is not all of it:

I'm guessing those are the secret doors to the :poke: "real" hidden modular lab.

:hmm: almost have 6U of tHM modules in my rig. maybe i'll make one of my subracks all-harvestman too (although i do tend to patch harvestman into makenoise modules a lot, and vice-versa - so it will probably be a less-than-perfectly convenient and very short-lived configuration; but we shall see... :hmm:).

cheers,

Just picked up Disting myself. Haven't had time to braaap with it but I keep telling myself it's possibly the perfect SH mk][ expander one could have right now...

I'm still uncertain with the disting. It is very useful and impressive, but I just hate having to pull up the reference pdf every time I want to change the modes.

How would you patch it with the SH? Curious to know your thoughts on their interaction... I'm yet to try pairing them up....

Disting outputs A and B into Stillson's CV inputs A and B seems embarrassingly trivial.
Especially in some sort of feedback type thing where Stillson's CV outs are plugged into Disting's X and Y inputs.
The Disting's utility algorithms are usually what turn my head:
* Precision Adder
* Four Quadrant Multiplier
* Max/Min
* Full Wave Wreck
* Comparator

ether I can envision your left hand toggling placement upon either the white rum or the Planar stick.
