Got this wrapped up over the weekend. Just need to wire the grounds up and bam! Left side is LIN attenuators and right side is EXPO. Middle.. nothing too exciting, just 1/4" > Banana > Minijack adapters, I believe this is going into the euro/banana case!

Also, before I go to sleep... I"ll be posting the updates of the mono/poly case and a few others, she's almost "THERE" >=)

Okay.. proof that i've actually been busy!
Once I get the workshop painted next weekend i'll post shots of that as well.

Anyway... since getting the new workshop up and running, it's way fucking fun / easy to get stuff done. And without basements flooding, 5' 6" ceilings and 3 light bulbs to light everything you do. No cats running around.... bringing up metal shaving into the rest of the house.... no slamming doors while you have a double respirator, long gloves ,and 4 panels being eaten away before your very eyes... before the 3 cats you have get outside and get eaten by the wild turkeys we have on our property. (kidding about the turkeys able to kill my cats, but we do have random wild turkeys every morning..) I could go on for 6 paragraphs of the bullshit that's been trying to plague my time and effort lately...but i'm over that hump I think :)

Life is good now.... and just to reiterate, in 4 weeks.. my brother who is RIDICULOUS with welding/plating/case fab/drawing/planning, will be moving into my house from San Fran. Big big big things on the horizon for what we have planned. In all honesty..... I've kind of decided to really pursue metalworking in general, as a career. Maybe not forever... but I'd like it to replace my full time gig at the print shop atleast. Love working there, but my time is to be spent in that damn garage creating awesome shit for people to use/look at. Just seems like alot of fun for awhile.....

Things that Tony and I are about to purchase
•Tig Welder
*Plasma Cutter
*Metal Plating Tanks/Rectifier
*Air tool attachments for our air tank
*Goods to build our workbenches, etching TANKS, and spray booth.

Okay well.. here are the pics of panels i've been working since my last post a few days ago. Night guys, time to recharge.

Suitcase before:

Suitcase how it stands untill tomorrow night when I finish the rest of the sanding, and buff it all up nice:

I can't wait to finish up the Europa in order to show your work in all its glory. Thanks for being patient on that one.

So... my brother has been here one day and already doing awesome work in the shop. Here is the Mono side fully polished except for the top few inches. He was working on it till 2am when the polishing wheel died so.... today he resumes. He's polishing this today and tomorrow... then finito, my hardest project ever. COMPLETE. Talk about rags to riches tho... So awesome to see the before picture compared to this latest polished one. Let the good times roll

That's some really beautiful work, Luigi.

However, that photo would be even more awesome if you had taken it while naked, just like those creepy fellows do when selling chrome tea kettles or polished brass plaques on eBay.

Just sayin'. :hide:

Christopher, trust me... nobody wants to see this guy naked, LOL.

So here is one of 3 I just wrapped up for a local furniture designer. Apparently when I went to pimp my work at an art show a few months ago... I drank too much wine and forgot I met this guy, haha. He called me up thursday and told me he had this rush job he was doing for Google, they spec'd their office around his cabinets and he wanted to personalize them.
His work is: http://www.mod-ology.com/ Alot of these cabinets he makes have gone to... Virgin Records, "People in Hollywood", NY real estate offices... etc. Seems like the guy is blowing up with these things!

So, he's talking about using us for everything from etched tags for ALL of his work, to custom welded feet for the cabinets and possible collaborations for gnarly custom furniture. Should be a reallllllly good opportunity for me and the bro and one step closer to making this Epinasty gig, FULL TIME BABY! We'll see how it goes.

Just wanted one more recap moment, wrapped this up the other day with my bro... Already packed and shipped. Thanks for following this project, was surely a labor of love and I really couldn't of done it without my brothers help, he really helped take this to the next level. Peace! :)

wow.. I have got to get my zero case polished!

what process did you use? I might have to see if I could do that myself... I'm not sure I could justify the cost of it going over the Atlantic to you and back :hihi:
