Wow. Just looked through all 16 pages. Definitely quality work. This inspires me to finish the DIY synth I've been stalling for a year now... I'll be in touch.

Damn... been a few months without an update. Sorry everybody, between the cold weather... biz being slow thru the holidays and my back failing on me for about a month, it's probably best I take a few month break every year around the same time. Ecspecially because now I'm all recharged and back to being slammed again! I have a shit load of work to post photos of... just gimme a few days. Doing a big art show tonight/tomorrow. Wish me luck!!! :)

I was over at Low Gain's last weekend and seen his Modcan case. It looks better in person than it did in the photos he posted. You do exceptional work sir! :hail:

Rumor has it, i've been pulled in for some unseen things from LowGan... but... psh, rumors... (humms that damn rumor has it song) Hahaha.

Thanks for all the kind words fellas, almost allowed to show you this big project i've been working on for a few months. Entire system design, 2 sets in copper, 2 sets in brass. Design's are all done, just going back and forth with the guy over hardware being moved around but.... should get cranking on them next week.

Besides that........ *scratches head*, I've got this cool frankenstein Buchla panel Kent + I are working on (just received part of the project in the mail today actually)

Also have some photos to take this week of known spots around town for an old friend. Supposed to do 4 square etchings of these different spots and make a wall hanging for the guy... should be pretty coool.

Other thing that's big right now is..... I'm going GREEN(ish)
No more acid etching is the plan............ researching and experimenting on salt water etching + electricity for the future of my Aluminum (Steel also?) panels. Might try to adapt this way to handle Copper/Brass as well but with Ferric Chloride on those 2... it's barely caustic and doesn't produce the DEATH fumes I experience on the others....

So, life has been kind of crazy since the first of the year. My seasonal concert recording of symphonys/jazz bands/choirs + marching bands is over until November so that's pretty damn awesome, back to METAL

(Diablo 3 break time..... *shhhh) :zombie:

Well I got around over the weekend to finish up the NEW etching tank.
Thought I would mess around last night with it and actually try to etch something I had laying around. Turned out uhm...... Perfect? This new way using electrolysis is amazing. No fumes.... good clean SHARP SHARP SHARP etch, most like how copper etches in acids. 100% okay for the environment... and I can keep the solution i made up for about a year to use over and over and over again. Big fucking win for me....
This is the future fellas..... at least for me. No more acids, hello salt water/copper sulphate + power :)

So I wrapped this up last night. A good friend of mine, she's now the head spinning instructor at this spinning studio here in the city... and we traded this consigned piece for a used bike she had (pedal bike) :)

As the guy that commissioned this master artisan to do the full system design and etching for me, I can tell you that i think you all will be BLOWN AWAY by what is coming.... You may LOVE or HATE the design, but you won't be able to argue about the creative genius that went into it... Stay tuned!
