Copper SUN Panels

Post by Christopher Winkels » Sat Jan 29, 2011 10:48 am

Sorry for the crap quality. I took a half dozen photos and unfortunately this is the best one of the bunch. Clearly my photographic skills are about as good as my musical ones. :sadbanana:

I'll take and post some more when I get them permanently located - right now I'm still awaiting some new modules so their location in my modular is rather tentative.

They look awesome though. I'll post more/better pics when I get a chance.

Indeed, very nice.
BTW How do they sound? I heard copper favours the bass sounds?

The copper certainly helps the bass response, but at the expense of a bit of mid-range punch. There is definitely still ample amounts of air, staging, and clarity though and the overall effect is quite non-fatiguing. There are also hints of blackcurrant, thyme, cat's pee, and a slight whiff of creosote, with an ample bouquet and sublime finish.
