ADDAC 506 Stochastic Envelope quality

So firstly I should say that I love the idea of this module. The ability to subtly control the the rise and fall times in an organic way is awesome!!

But...


I've bought two of these modules and BOTH did not function as they should. The first one didn't lock the separate envelope channels properly, so when I was adjusting one unlocked envelope, other locked envelopes would be changing their attack and release times. Luckily I was able to return this module and get a refund at the store I purchased it from.

I thought I would get another one, cos maybe I just bought a lemon! But this module, doesn't output EOR gates!!

Am I cursed or is this a recurrent problem with this module?!?! I really want to love and use this module, but I am struggling!

Any resolution 'groovar'??? Wondering if it's just a QA/QC issue. I didn't experience any 'locking' issues with mine but I didn't run through the gamut of testing.

i just made arrangements to ship back after describing the issue a second time. i even tested it again. its never worked. i was very early to buy so i am thinking maybe it was just an early / bad batch. i am looking forward to seeing how this thing really behaves...someday

I was an early adopter as well!! Haven't played with the module much but is there anything particular faulty I should look to test???

Gotta say, got one last week and having a blast! No issues to report and all seems to be in perfect working order

I got one recently and absolutely love it. Makes a brilliant heart to my system, and gets some really creative modulation.

I've had a 506 and 506B for several weeks and have tried it out extensively. I can say with confidence it works perfectly and it surpasses my expectations.
