Looking for certain means to display sound/music, lets picture a venn diagram thinking that the center should be as big as possible/practical, from practical/financial point of view, artistic(making sounds visible, but correlating and separating domains also, not everything what you see sounds great, not everything what you play displays nice).
Oh, and then you just have 2 hands and 1 brain, I'm not a big fan of prepared/repeated/same performances, why not put on cd and press play button otherwise.
Cyclops has been on my mind for years now(not constantly), but I find it surprising that there are so few demos, maybe any users could post their experiences and insights?
Finding myself trying to understand how "practical" it is, as in, not showing running cats, but not showing spinning oval either...
So basically wonder how/what would i need in practice to accommodate it, that does not go well with audio side of things, but would make interesting stuff for cyclops/x/y/vector sphere. I have quite a few wmd pdo's that go to around 100khz(at least from their spec), but I assume they are noisy, not sure how much.
If anyone has some demo's and patch notes, module breakdown, or some link to practical insights regarding "glueing" audio with real-time visuals on vector space(I'm sure there are threads out there, but can't spend that much time searching, so feel that it's quicker to ask). Would be very interesting.
I think this is very underrated module personally, maybe ahead of it's market success time window
