Weird artifacts/texture

Post by allenheimer » Sat Jan 25, 2020 6:20 am

I'm preparing a show using a lot of pre-recorded video synth recordings.

Once I play the edited file on my CRT through a media player, weird artefacts show up that look digital to my eye, but aren't necessarily.

The very same file looks fine on my computer screen, and a secondary attached screen.

The file is at 29,97 fps and the recordings are NTSC. However, I am in a PAL region, so this may have something to do with it. I did try to export at 25 fps just to check if the texture would go away, but it did not.

Any suggestions? Thanks.
