Pick 6?

Post by howard.music » Mon Jun 22, 2020 3:21 pm

Hi all, new to this group, but have been playing the Wiard for some time, although by no means an expert, and still always learning.

Looking now to down-size from one each of the original eight series 300 modules to six and having a hard time deciding which two to give up. Right now have the Woggle Bug and Borg on the sidelines, but really undecided, as both offer a lot (as do each of the modules). Maybe an impossible question, but if you could only pick six which two would you leave out?

I would double the size of my case and get 12! Seriously, I would. Um, did. Have.

Keep all 8. You can use the Borg as two LFOs and two VCAs. The Bug is your clock source in addition to everything else it can do to liven up your patches.

:agree:

What would be the reason to go from 8 to 6?

Yeah, I’m thinking to keep all 8. I just wished that I had a better option for a portable case that would house all 8. I was also trying to raise some funds for a Make Noise Shared System. But probably will keep the 8 - there is so much in each one.
