Newbie Wiard Euro question

Post by NYMo » Mon Sep 10, 2012 4:49 am

Ive just got a few Malekko Wiard modules...they are the only modules that I have in Euro.
I also have the blue 300 series dual joystick controller.
Is it possible to buy the blue Wiard modules in Euro ?
( I am a sucker for blue synths !)

Cheers

Nope, I asked Josh this question a while ago and they aren't available. There is a guy on here who does faceplates though. Think it's user qu.one? The company is called Pro Modular, try them.

Tragedy by Syntax also does great faceplate work.

The blue synths par excellence: Wiard :wiard: and Bugbrand :bugbrand:

Quite a combination, I promise. Quite a few people here qould agree, I think (Muff!?).

300 is the only way to go blue I think. But I love my silver euro wiard/malekko modules too. And, ah, I also love my black Blacet/Wiard Miniwave. In short, if it has any Wiard DNA, it has awesome built in.

I decided to pay extra for the blue frac modules - at the time I wondered if it was an extravagance but I've never regretted it.
Key Gear: Wiard 300 Series, EMS VCS3, Frac Modular (Blacet, Wiard, Bananalogue & Synthesis Technology).

Qu.one is the one who makes the panels but he was specifically asked not to do blue ones by Grant so I don't think you will be able to get one. I forget why Grant didn't want euro blue ones but I'm sure he's got a good reason.

This would look lovely sitting next to 300 series...

Back on topic - NYMo, since you can't get Euro in blue the only sensible option is to get a Euro joystick and a JAG and sell the controller to me 8_)

You never know...might end up with blue 300 series yet ;)
Electrocomp looks nice..but most probably too expensive now.
Blue synths I have owned..PPG 2.3 and Waveterm b, obxa (2) ob8,notation supernova 11... I'm sure there's more, but I can't remember !

A scanner darkly..got the jag.
If I'm ever going to sell the Wiard 300 controller, you will be the first to know.

Cheers
