I want to buy your album...

Post by parasitk » Wed Mar 17, 2010 6:27 pm

...or get your free album, whichever way you roll. I want more music by you Wigglers.

Either way, post a link to your albums here. I know there are links scattered all over this site, but I dig a central repository! Could be a download, or a CD or cassette or whatever.

I'm only interested in proper albums (couldn't care less what genre), not demos or when you're just messing around. Something you created with purpose to be released as an album.

I will be shameless and start off with links to my stuff:

I, Parasite - http://music.iparasite.net
The Pseudomancer - http://music.darkvisionmedia.com

free album for download here:

http://hermetech.blogspot.com/2009/06/welcome.html

it's my "rogue harmonicks" album from a few years ago. older stuff, mostly done in audiomulch, but there is also a lot of analogue and modular goodness on it too.

currently working on a follow up album with tokyocat and cat-a-tonic.

While not really an album I did string a bunch of my droney junk together into an 18 minute long gapless mix with the intent that all 5 (or is it 6) pieces should be listened to as a coherent collection. I have two more 'songs' that fit with this collection but haven't had the time to add them. In the meantime...

If only someone would invent a synth that would allow the end user to determine the functionality. You could pick which functions were important to you in 'modules'. A 'modular', if you will. - Stretta

I would like to strongly encourage a continuation of all sorts of messing around, and a liberal posting the results. In fact, nothing but messing around, please.

Something you created with purpose to be released as an album.

Devi Ever did all the artwork/packaging and orders.

Its not my best work, but its the only piece of music I have released as a proper "product" with artwork and CD.
Each one different and part of one large puzzle.
3 of them sold right away to 2 forum members here(Thanks Felix and JWM!) and one random person I don't know(that felt good knowing it was someone I didn't know), and I gave 2 away.
Then they sat for 9 months and no one wanted them.........
I had the option of having the remaining 5 sent back to me for free since they weren't moving,
I should have accepted that offer, instead I had them sent to Subconscious Communications where they were hopefully listened to and not tossed in a trash can.
I wish I had kept one for myself
Ahhh growing pains...... :hihi:

Almost forgot - there is also a collaboration CD coming out in a few months (on OEC, Italy) with me and Surachai which of course is very "modular" in style.
