Tangerine Dream - Ricochet (my first 'LP' when I was about 13 years old)
Synergy - Sequencer
Union Jack - There will be no armageddon

Aphex Twin - if I had to choose, uh, let's say Ambient II
Oneohtrix Point Never - Rifts, actually prefer his more recent stuff, but I wouldn't really call it 'synth music'

Then I don't know, but a current fav is Voices From the Lake - self-titled. Great use of the modular. Also, James Holden - Inheritors.

This is really easy for me:

Top three that influenced me in some way, especially motivationally:

(And, oddly enough, when I first heard them:)

ELP: Brain Salad Surgery - Driving through the mountains of Idaho the winter of '73-'74 on a ski trip with my best friend Eric

Kraftwerk: Autobahn - Summer School 1976 at the Naval Academy

Wendy Carlos: Switched On Bach - Early 1981 in my company car's cassette deck

Top three favs:

TD: Zeit

Biosphere: Microgravity

TD: Phaedra

Honorable Mention:

Soundtrack to Star Control 2

Orbital: In Sides

TD: Rubycon

Steve Roach: The Magnificent Void

Robert Rich: Below Zero

Klaus Schulze: Irrlicht

Autechre: Amber
Solaris Site
Stuff for sale
Stuff for sale shown on Modulargrid
WTB: Black panels

Unflappably nonchalant, with some exceptions

If you've been on the planet a while and have played and worked with synthesizers for the better part of that time then it is extraordinarily difficult to narrow the list to a mere three. I still listen to all of these regularly.

Early Exposure: Switched On Bach - Wendy (under the name Walter) Carlos.
Inspired the desire to play synthesizers:
Close To The Edge - Yes (Set the trajectory that made music an essential element in my life. A revelation.)
Green/Motivation Radio - Steve Hillage
Jarre - Oxygen

Inspiration for writing/recording (Early):
Jarre - Zoolook
Escape from Television - Jan Hammer
Optical Race - Tangerine Dream
Obsession - Bob James
Electric Cafe - Kraftwerk
Sticks and Stones - Grusin Bros

Further Inspiration:
This Binary Universe (Surround)/If Stars Are Eternal - bt (Brian Transeau)
Airdrawndagger - Sasha
Elegant Systems - Kirk Digiorgio

Most Recent:
Mir - Ott
Forward Escape - Tipper
Buchla Tunes 5/Select Buchla Tunes 1-6 - Lyonel Bauchet

Favorite Album of All Time: bt - This Binary Universe (Surround)
Favorite Synth Solo: Sound Chaser from Relayer - Patrick Moraz w/ Yes

Getting carried away here...yet I'm sure the top 3 are in there somewhere...
