Strangely, as a Vitalic fan I still find the sound of this uplifting.
Where have I seen you before?
Same place you saw me, I expect.
I've got a good face for memories.

Not necessarily or explicitly sad but I find myself coming to this album when I've needed a good expanse to cry on.

Big fan of M83 "Intro"

It's sad, but moving at the same time.

The album "the tired sounds of stars of the lid" is a great album by stars of the lid, perhaps the most gut wrenching on that album is "requiem for dying mothers".

This song combined with this video evokes a fairly intense sense of loneliness and anxiety in me. I'm not lonely or anxious, but this lets me imagine I am :)

Speaking of Korgs, there used to be an awesome cover version of this Double tune, done entirely on a Korg EMX-1. It was really well done, but I cannot find it anymore.

Not a sad synth song but the first few passages of this old metal tune always seemed poignant:

Depends what you mean by sad. The fact this wasn't a hit is fucking sad.

Not saying everyone at Polydor should have been flayed alive for this. Maybe just publicly flogged.

Big fan of Fever Ray.

This song is about losing a very young (9years old) child to suicide.
Gum is fun, but not on a cat.

My minds an art gallery.
